High Impact Strength
LEXAN™ LCS Sheet offers high impact resistance at least 5 times that of FRP, minimizing the risk of breakage.
Resistance to Yellowing
LEXAN™ LCS sheet has a protective layer on one side, which minimizes the damaging effects of UV radiation in sunlight.
Fire Performance
A limited oxygen index of 25 makes LEXAN™ Sheets self extinguishing and non propagating. Theses sheets have been given the highest rating for any thermoplastics glazing material by various regulatory bodies world over.
Light Weight
LEXAN™ LCS is rigid yet very light, allowing easy handling and minimal support structures.
Temperature Resistance
LEXAN™ LCS sheets can withstand temperature from -40'C to 125'C under constant use vis-a-vis FRP/PVC where resistance level is low.
Important Instructions
Cutting:LCS can be cut with ordinary clean metal cutting tools, even scissors, either singly or in layers, but should be firmly clamped to avoid vibration.
Drilling:To allow the thermal expansion, oversized holed should be drilling with a hand or power drill in slow speed using a metal for easy identification with continous ribbon.
Mounting: Fit LCS sheets with weather-protected side outward-marked for easy identification with continuous ribbon.
Handling/Storage: LCS Sheets should be stacked horizontally with due protection against sun and rine supporting with battens placed at 1m intervals.
Accident Prevention: Never Leave inadequately fixed sheets on unfinished jobs. Despite the high strength of LCS never walk directly in sheets and always use crawl boards place across at least two purlins.
