LEXAN™ SOLID SHEET - MARGARD™ SHEET
LEXAN™ MARGARD™ sheet can be an excellent choice to reduce railcar weight by replacing traditional glass, offering excellent abrasion resistance and excellent chemical resistance. The train interior glazing complies with the German rail standard, the French rail standard and the Italian rail standard. Additionally, the LEXAN™ MARGARD™ sheet can reduce weight, high impact strength, forced entry protection, graffiti resistance, excellent flame retardance, and UV- and abrasion resistance. LEXAN™ MARGARD™ sheet can be an ideal candidate for the compartment partitions.
LEXAN™ EXTRITE SHEET
A transparent polycarbonate solid sheet with proprietary UV protection on both sides offering excellent weathering properties. With its excellent impact and scratch resistance it is a perfect candidate for a wide variety of building and construction and other glazing applications.
To the new protective layer, the material is fulfilling a demand for areas where abrasion and scratch resistance and weathering is important. The intrinsic properties of LEXAN™ polycarbonate combined with a one side protective layer results in improved abrasion, chemical and UV resistance.
LEXAN™ EXELLDP
Based on high-performance LEXAN™ resin, the products offers an excellent clarity with attractive aesthetic properties and high impact strength. They are also easy to design and form. Opaque sheet products combine excellent impact performance and stiffness with ease of thermoforming or cold forming. They offer a consistent high-quality surface and cost-effective part differentiation through wide color availability.
